VODAFONE + MTV + Not3s

MTV Breaks gives young people their first break in the creative industries.

MTV Breaks on Tour in partnership with Vodafone Voxi and Not3s toured creative schools across London, creating opportunities for young people to learn about employment in the creative industries through workshops and talks with creative industry professionals and celebrities.

ONE Condoms + MTV + Ella Eyre

The Staying Alive Foundation and ONE Condoms came together with Ella Eyre to deliver a clear and impactful message "Ride with Protection".

Viacom + Stonewall + RuPaul

OUT IN 60 is Viacom International Media Networks' first ever global campaign about the importance of coming out in the LGBTQ community, in partnership with Stonewall.

This Award-Winning global campaign aired on MTV, Comedy Central, Channel 5, VH1, BET and Nickelodeon, globally.

On social media the campaingn reached 58M viewies on launch day during International Coming Out day.

United Nations + ILO + MTV

MTV Agents of Change in partnership with the United Nations’ International Labour Organization celebrates the inspiring work of employment charities around the world.

Paraguay Foundation was selected for this award for their work on youth employment in rural Paraguay.

MTV + IWD + Sophia Thakur

For International Women’s Day, MTV flipped their logo on air from ‘M’ to ‘W’ and created ‘SOUND ON’ an on air piece featuring spoken word artist Sophia Thakur, which aired globally on MTV and on social media.

VODAFONE + MTV

MTV Breaks in partnership with Vodafone Voxi launched a competition to select the most talented young artists in London, giving them an opportunity to showcase their work, receive coaching from industry leaders and exhibit their work at the House of MTV, during the MTV Europe Music Awards in London.

The Thing TV was founded in 2010 by Nicolas Butty after 10+ years working with some of the biggest international broadcasters & advertising agencies in London, Buenos Aires & Johannesburg.

Nicolas later worked as Director of Social Impact for Viacom International Media Networks (MTV, Channel 5, Comedy Central & Nickelodeon), where he developed the skills and passion for bringing big brands, charities & celebrities together to deliver meaningful and impactful campaigns.
